The Minister of Education ,Mallam Adamu Adamu discloses the plans for Students in Tertiary Institutions to receive Lectures via N.T.A( Nigeria Television Authority) and F.R.CN.( Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria).
He spoke at the Covid-19 presidential task force -PTF - briefing on Tuesday.he said that the ministry has been planning the idea for long time before the pandemic disease.
Adamu said " some of my Tertiary Institutions are already given their lessons online . The ministry is working with the N.T.A and F.R.C.N to start given lectures ,not just because if covid-19 ,I hope this would became of a permanent features of our Education system in Nigeria.
So, "lessons would be given online,the last time I met wit the vice chancellors ,I even talked to the press and told them I have directed institutions of highest learning to start thinking of giving lessons where they are "
I am also aware that there are some private institutions who are already giving lessons online.
Adamu also said salaries have been paid.;as far as I know ,their is no body who has not been paid his/her salary.
