A total of 216 students of the Covenant University, Ota in Ogun state were conferred with first-class degrees at its 2021 academic session The Vice-Chancellor, Prof Humphrey Adebayo, a professor, performed the ceremony during the institution’s 16th convocation ceremony Professor Adebayo appreciates the support of the chancellor, Bishop Oyedepo, for his vision and guidance which has made the school soar higher with the country and beyond.

Two hundred and sixteen students of the Covenant University, Ota, Ogun state on Friday, October 22, bagged first-class honours degrees during the 16th graduation ceremony of the 19-year-old faith-based institution. Independent reports that a total of 1,681 graduates of the university comprising 1,400 and 281 in the graduate and postgraduate levels were presented with awards of first and higher degrees during the 2021 academic session. 

Vice-Chancellor, Professor Humphrey Adebayo, in his address lauded the Chancellor, Bishop David Oyedepo for his vision and God’s guidance that had taken the institution to greater heights within Nigeria and in the global arena as a world-class institution. 

The event took place within the institution’s campus in Ota.
