PRE-ADMISSION SCREENING REGISTRATION
INSTRUCTIONS
Please read the following instructions carefully.
Note:
1. Wrong entries will automatically disqualify a candidate; and
2. Admission will be based on an aggregate of UTME/DE score (50%); Post-UTME screening score (30%); and five (5) relevant O’ Level grades (20%).
(ii) All candidates shall upload their O’ Level and/or A’ Level results where applicable on the JAMB CAPS: Candidates who are awaiting results should so indicate by writing ‘AR’.
(iii) Change of Course: If required, this should be done on both the Unilorin and JAMB PORTALS for it to be valid.
(iv) Ensure that you have a personal, valid and active email address and phone number NOT (Cybercafé’s) before commencing the registration process.
(v) You're to pay Registration fee of N2, 000.00 only excluding charges
(vi) Candidates should print out their screening document and make sure that all information entered are correctly displayed. If not correctly displayed, candidates are advised to re-enter their information.
To be eligible to apply for unilorin post utme form;
First, you must have the school cut off 180 above, depending on the course you're applying for.
You must have chosen the university of Ilorin as your first choice institutions during the jamb registration or you have changed your first choice already to be unilorin maybe after jamb released the results.
Thirdly, you must have five at least 5 credit in your olevel. (In the relevant subjects including English and mathematics.).
If you don't meet your course cut off, kindly apply for change of course.
For example, you want to study law and you have like 210 or 215, you should know that you don't have up to the cut off, then you apply for less course.
Make sure your jamb subject combination for that course is correct, because that's what usually cause the issue of UNILORIN giving you another course that you don't apply for.
After registration, you will get your scheduling slip, and payment receipt.
The date for your post utme exam, time and venue will be be displayed to you.
Note, unilorin start exam earlier than the time slated for you, so you're advised to be at the center at least an hour before the time.

JAMB CAPS
Note the following:
Jamb will take over the admission process most. It is not new that Candidates are to link their email to their jamb profile, so hat they can have access to jamb caps.
It's on jamb caps that you will accept your admission.
You need to upload your olevel result on jamb Portal, failure to that means you don't need the admission for this year.
There's nothing you can do on jamb Portal if you don't link your email to your jamb profile because it's after that that you will get your login details. Click the link below to see how to link your email to your profile if you're yet to do so.
Procedure for 2021 UTME/DE candidates to obtain e-facility login details
To check your login details, go to your mail and look for the message from jamb, your details will be there.
But if you can't find your details, probably you don't get how to link it or you're seeing different messages like 'you do not register for jamb', kindly visit any nearby nearby accredited CBT center to fix the problem.
*HOW TO CHECK O'LEVEL RESULT ON JAMB PORTAL*
To check your olevel result on jamb caps, go to your browser, search jamb portal, you can easily click the this link https://portal.jamb.gov.ng/efacility_/, then login with your details ; email and password, go down and click 'check admission status', then click on 'access my caps', you will see some menu by left, check very well and click on 'my olevel'. If you can see your olevel, it means it has been uploaded, if it's AR, you need to upload your olevel.

UNILORIN ADMISSION.
After JAMB, some institutions simply conduct screening exercise, while some other institutions, in addition to meeting the JAMB cut-off, conduct Post UTME for their applicants to determine their admission.
For most schools, Direct Entry candidates are not subject to another examination.
Unfortunately, that’s not the case with UNILORIN.
Be it UTME or DE, UNILORIN every applicant must participate in their Post UTME examination.
You should understand that the fact that you passed JAMB and meet the cut-off mark doesn’t guarantee your admission to UNILORIN.
The University of Ilorin has always be Computer based Test (CBT). All you need is to prepare ahead of the examination.
UNILORIN provides only one centres for the putme exam : Unilorin school premises CBT center.
Whatever the case, start preparing your mind.

2022/2023 Unilorin Post utme Admission will be based on an aggregate of UTME/DE score(50%); Post-UTME screening score(30%);and five (5) relevant O’ Level grades(20%).
With this, I see no reason why you should not prepare for the Post utme.
Don't forget the University of Ilorin Post UTME is a computer-based test (CBT) that comprises of questions randomly selected in three subject, which are English, little mathematics (depends on your lucky) and General subject, which current affair is also part. The aggregate mark for Unilorin Post utme is 30%.
English takes 80% of the post utme, while mathematics and General knowledge (current affair) take the remaining 20%.
Take note that you have little time to do the exam unlike jamb that you have limited time.

ENGLISH
- Syntactic unit; Phrase, clause and sentence.
- Concord ; Grammatical, notional and proximity concord.
- Synonyms, Antonyms and Homonyms
- Question tag
- Stress
- And lastly, spellings, unilorin likes spellings, for example; 'From the options below, choose the correct spelling out of all these words'.
MATHEMATICS
- Change of subject of the formula
- Simple interest
- Means, mode and medium
- Other simple topics in mathematics
Note, regardless off your department, you need to study math as well. You don't know if you're going to see mathematics more than general subject. So prepare ahead.
Don't take mathematics with levity !!!
GENERAL SUBJECT; CURRENT AFFAIR
- Find out meaning of some abbreviations
- The History of Nigeria
- Try to know those in power
- Date is also essential
You can come across questions like the largest mountain in Nigeria, the current minster for sport is ____.etc. I remember they asked me one question like that, something stadium.
