University of Ilorin debate club (UILDC) represented Nigeria at the just concluded Zimbabwe's open debate championship, the University of Ilorin has emerged the overall winner of the tournament.
The team was represented by Sidiq Farhan and Ibrahim Idris.
The competition was organised by the royalty pact debating Academy held between April 1st 2022 and April 3 2022 in Zimbabwe. It's one of the biggest tournaments in Africa with over 70 teams and over 120 speakers across Africa participated during the event
The tournament was administered by judges across African Countries, comprising Mace Picterson and Nana Yaw Ofosu as tabulators, Elisha Owusu and others.
The club was also represented by two additional debate teams, comprising Oloruntoyin Muhammadbaqr, Ayodele Samuel, John Kalio peace and Owolabi Victor respectively.
