Federal University Lokoja {FULOKOJA} Post UTME/DE Registration commences, Monday, September 19,2022.

Candidate must made the institution as first choice and must have 170 above as UTME score, except MBBS which is 220 above

Please note the following

i. THE ONLINE POST-UTME SCREENING EXERCISE/PORTAL CLOSES BY MIDNIGHT, FRIDAY, OCTOBER 28, 2022.

ii. Candidates must possess five (5) O' level credits in subjects relevant to their desired course of study obtained in not more than two (2) sittings. Credit in English Language is compulsory for admission into all courses in Federal University Lokoja. Please visit the University website (www.fulokoja.edu.ng) for the O’level, UTME and DE Requirements for courses offered in Federal University Lokoja.

iii. Candidates awaiting O’level result(s) may apply but should note that only those with O’level result(s) will be considered for admission once the admissions process begins.

iv. Only candidates who uploaded their O’level result(s) on the JAMB e-Facility would be eligible for admission. Please note that uploading of data on the JAMB e-Facility can only be done successfully at JAMB Office or any JAMB Accredited Centre.

v. Only candidates who participated in the Screening Exercise would be considered for admission in the 2022/2023 Academic Session. Also, only DE candidates who applied through the 2022 JAMB Registration Exercise and choose FUL as their 1st choice would be considered for the screening exercise.

vi. MBBS candidates would be scheduled for a Computer Based Test (CBT) and only candidates who choose MB;BS as 1st choice on JAMB portal would be considered for the MB;BS CBT screening exercise.

vii. A successful screening exercise does not guarantee admission into Federal University Lokoja. The Central Admissions Committee of the University would still apply other admission modalities in considering your application.

viii. Candidates are expected to adhere strictly to the instructions above.

GENERAL ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Admissions into the Federal University Lokoja shall be through the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).

In addition to attaining the general required standard in UTME, candidates must satisfy the general University requirement as well as the specific Faculty and Programmes requirements.

UTME UNDERGRADUATE ADMISSION REQUIREMENT

FACULTY OF ARTS

1. B.A. Archaeology

O’LEVEL REQUIREMENTS: 5 (five) SSC credit passes in English Language, Mathematics and any 3 (three) from Arts, Social Sciences or Science

UTME SUBJECTS: Any three (3) from Arts, Social Sciences or Science

2. B.A. Linguistics

O’LEVEL REQUIREMENTS: 5 (five) SSC credit passes in English Language, Literature in English and 3 (three) subjects from Arts and Social Sciences.

UTME SUBJECTS: Literature in English and any other 2 (two) from Arts and Social Science subjects

3. B.A. Arabic Studies

O’LEVEL REQUIREMENTS: 5 (five) SSC credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Arabic and 2 (two) subjects from Arts and Social Sciences.

UTME SUBJECTS: Arabic and 2 (two) subjects from Arts and Social Sciences.

4. B.A. Christian Religious Studies

O’LEVEL REQUIREMENTS: 5 (five) SSC credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, CRK and any other 2 (two) subjects from Arts and Social Sciences

UTME SUBJECTS: CRK and any other 2 (two) subjects from Arts and Social Sciences

5. B.A. Islamic Studies

O’LEVEL REQUIREMENTS: 5 (five) SSC credit passes in English Language and IRK / Arabic and any 3 (three) subjects from Arts and Social Sciences.

UTME SUBJECTS: Islamic Studies/ Arabic plus 2 (two) other Arts and Social Science Subjects

6. B.A. Philosophy

O’LEVEL REQUIREMENTS: 5 (five) SSC credit passes in English Language and any other 4 (four) relevant subjects. A pass in Mathematics is required.

UTME SUBJECTS: Any three (3) subjects

7. B.A. Music

O’LEVEL REQUIREMENTS: 5 (five) SSC credit passes in English Language, Literature in English and any other 3 (three) relevant subjects.

UTME SUBJECTS: Literature in English and any other relevant subjects.

8. B.A. Theatre Arts

O’LEVEL REQUIREMENTS: 5 (five) SSC credit passes in English Language, Literature in English and other subjects from Arts or Social Science

UTME SUBJECTS: Literature in English and any 2 (two) subjects from Arts or Social Sciences

9. B.A. History and Int'l Studies

O’LEVEL REQUIREMENTS: 5 (five) SSC credit passes in English Language, History/Government and any other 3 (three) from Arts or Social Sciences

UTME SUBJECTS: History/Government and any other 2 (two) subjects from Arts or Social Sciences

10. B.A. English and Literary Studies

O’LEVEL REQUIREMENTS: 5 (five) SSC credit passes in English Language and Literature-in-English and any other 3 (three) of either Arts or Social Science subjects

2. B.Sc. Geography

O’LEVEL REQUIREMENTS : 5 (five) SSC credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Geography and any 2 (two) from Economics, Government/History, Civic Education, Physics, Chemistry, Further Mathematics, Data Processing, Technical Drawing, Biology/Agricultural Science

3. B.Sc. Mass Communication
