This was made known by the Vice-Chancellor, UNIPORT, Prof. Owunari Georgewil, while commending the CEO on behalf of the beneficiaries of the award.
CEO recalled how he benefited from a scholarship grant by Mobil Nigeria Limited during his time as a student at the university.
“It is because I have walked the path that you are walking that I can confidently but with profound humility state that I know where the shoe pinches. I dare say that without the Mobil scholarship, it would have been nearly impossible to complete my education at the university because that scholarship made a difference for me. Some people at the time had to drop out due to lack of financial capabilities and support,” he said.
