The Management of Lagos State University of Education has again adjusted resumption date for students.
This development in line with a new shift in date by the INEC for the Gubernatorial and state assembly elections.
In a statement obtained by our correspondent, the institution noted that University Senate has approved the extension of the break for one week.
The statement reads:
“Recall that in the circular under reference, students were to be on break between February 22nd and March 14th and were to resume on March 14th in line with the directive of the National Universities Commission regarding the 2023 general elections.
“However, in view of the postponement of the Governorship elections from Saturday 11th to Saturday 18th March 2023, the Vice-Chancellor on behalf of the University Senate has approved the extension of the break for one week.”
“Students are therefore to resume on Monday 20th March 2023.”
“Please note that this circular applies strictly to students only”
