FEDERAL UNIVERSITY OF PETROLEUM RESOURCES, EFFURUN (FUPRE) REVISED ACADEMIC CALENDAR FOR 2022/2023 ACADEMIC SESSION

The Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun (FUPRE) has released a revised academic calendar for the 2022/2023 session due to the election break. The revised calendar outlines the rescheduled dates for various academic activities, including registration, matriculation, examinations, and breaks. First Semester Adjustments

The first semester of the 2022/2023 academic session has been adjusted to accommodate the election break. Resumption of academic activities and registration for both fresh and old students will now begin on Tuesday, 21st March 2023. Other important dates, such as the matriculation ceremony and the end of registration, have also been rescheduled.

First Semester Examination Dates

The revised academic calendar has set the dates for the first semester examinations. The revision period will run from Monday, 11th to Friday, 5th May 2023, followed by the first semester examinations from Monday, 8th to Friday, 26th May 2023. The first-semester break will take place from Monday, 29th May to Friday, 9th June 2023.

Second Semester Adjustments

The second semester of the 2022/2023 academic session will commence on Monday, 12th June 2023. The end of lectures for the second semester is scheduled for Friday, 15th September 2023, followed by a revision period from Monday, 18th to Friday, 22nd September 2023.

Second Semester Examination Dates

The second-semester examinations will take place from Monday, 25th September to Friday, 13th October 2023. Following the examinations, the second-semester break will occur from Monday, 16th to Friday, 27th October 2023. During this time, the consideration of results will take place at the departmental and college board levels.
