Members of the labour union on Monday shut down the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) in Lagos, while enforcing the nationwide strike by the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC and Trade Union Congress, TCU over the minimum wage proposal.
Team Campusinfo reports that the NLC and TUC commenced a nationwide industrial action on Monday in protest against the N60,000 minimum wage proposal of the Federal Government.
In the photos which emerged online, members of the labour union were captured with canes chasing FIRS staff out of the Agidingbi, Ikeja, office.
