The Federal Polytechnic Nekede, Owerri, has announced admission into its Higher National Diploma (HND) morning, evening, and weekend programs for the 2024/2025 academic year. Candidates who possess a National Diploma in their chosen program from a recognized accredited Polytechnic or Monotechnic and have at least five relevant O’level credits, including English Language and Mathematics, are eligible to apply.
The admission requirements for the HND programs include:
– National Diploma in the chosen program from a recognized accredited Polytechnic or Monotechnic
– At least five O’level credits, including English Language and Mathematics, at not more than two sittings in WAEC/NECO or NABTEB (O’level Examinations)
– At least 12 months or 24 months post-National Diploma industrial training experience
Candidates are required to follow the application process outlined below:
1. Visit the school portal at www.fpno.edu.ns and click on “Application form link” under the student’s menu
2. Fill out the bio-data form and generate an invoice
3. Pay the application fee of Fifteen Thousand Naira (₦15,000.00) at Federal Polytechnic Nekede Microfinance Bank or any bank of your choice using the Remita platform
4. Return to the school’s website to complete the application process and submit your data
5. Print out your acknowledgment slip
