Candidates who chose Federal University of Technology, Owerri as University of First Choice in the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry (DE) are hereby invited to the Screening Exercise for admissions. The following conditions apply:

ONLY candidates that scored a minimum of 150 in their UTME are ELIGIBLE to

Those who did not choose FUTO as University of first choice but scored a minimum of 150 can also apply on the condition that they visit the JAMB CAPS and change to FUTO.

5. Direct Entry candidates must be holders of OND/HND/First Degree and A‘Level in in relevant disciplines and subjects.
6. Nature of the Screening Exercise
The 2024/2025 Post-UTME and Direct Entry Screening Exercise shall be based on
verified JAMB scores and WAEC/GCE/NECO/NABTEB results uploaded on the
Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) of JAMB.
7. Important Notices
a. Ensure that your details on JAMB CAPS match what you have on the Post-
UTME application portal. For instance, ensure that you use your cocorrect JAMB
Registration number, date of birth, state of origin, etc. for application.
b. You must enter a valid mobile number and e-mail address for further
communications.
c.You must upload your O’Level results on JAMB CAPS, NOT LATER THAN August
31, 2024.
d. ONLY candidates who successfully submit applications online will be
considered for admission.
e. FOR DIRECT ENTRY CANDIDATES: In addition to 7a-7d
Kindly ensure that your academic transcript reaches:

ANY candidate who fails to submit his/her academic transcript will not be
considered for admission.
8. Mode of Payment and Registration Procedure
Eligible candidates are required to pay a processing fee of N2, 000.00 (Two
Thousand Naira)

d..................“Prospective Students” then Click on “Undergraduate”

b. Click on “Generate invoice”
c. Enter your JAMB Registration Number to generate Payment Invoice
.........containing the Remita Retrieval Reference Number (RRR).
d. Proceed to any Bank with the payment invoice OR simply pay with your ATM
........Card.
e. Return to the Application portal: https://portal.futo.edu.ng/#undergraduate
f. Click on “Application Form”
g. Enter your JAMB Registration number and click on “Login”.
h. Proceed with the completion of the form.
i. Correctly enter all your details as required.
j. Confirm your entries.
k. Submit your application.
l. Print out your acknowledgement slip.
m. Await further communication from the University.
